      Ray Nelson Pequin, aged 20 years, died this morning at 8:15 o'clock, after a short but severe illness of spinal meningitis. He was in his usual health Sunday but Monday the fatal seizure showed its first symptoms and progressed rapidly until the end. Rene was born in Kaukauna and had resided here all his life. He was the second oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Pequin, who with a daughter, Miss Verna Pequin and a son, Louis, survive.

      The funeral will be held from St. Mary's church Monday morning at nine o'clock under charge of Father Steinbrecher with interment at St. Mary's cemetery.
