- 4/20/1960 Appleton Post Crescent page B1 "Mrs. Robert C. Zilske, 78, of 217 W. Winnebago Street, died unexpectedly at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday.
She was born August 28, 1881, in Appleton, where she lived all her life.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Wilbur A. Troge, of Grace Lutheran Church, in charge. Friends may call at the Brettschneider Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Jury, Appleton; one son, Maj. Karl Zilske, Joliet, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Charles Gehl, Appleton, and eight grandchildren."
