    • Oscar Ervin Boelter, age 78, of Neenah, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, September 1, 2015, at the Alten Haus Assisted Living. Oscar was born September 26, 1936, the son of the late Julius and Sabina (Hartman) Boelter in Bryant, Wisconsin.

      Oscar worked in farming all his life, and loved working the farm fields. His real passion was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles, and will be remembered for being a huge Green Bay Packer fan. Also to be remembered was that Oscar always loved a good meal of meat and potatoes.

      He is survived by his children, Debbie (David) Wilcox, Tuesday (William) Coon, Dan (Evelyn Koehnke) Boelter, and Lisa (Brett Jungwirth) Arndt; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren with one more on the way. Oscar is further survived by his brother, Eugene (Sharon) Boelter; sister, Verna Bauer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

      In addition to his parents, Oscar was preceded in death by his five brothers, Arnold, Harold, Alvin, Charles and James; and three sisters, Louis, Irene and Margaret.

      A Celebration of Oscar's Life will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015, from 10 A.M. - 11:00 A.M., with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 A.M.., at the Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton. A luncheon will be served following the service. Burial will follow the luncheon at 5 P.M., in the Bent Cemetery, in Bryant, Wisconsin.
