    • Norma A. McCabe, age 72, of 315 Burns Street, Marinette died on Wednesday , November 29th at the Rennes Health Care-East. The former Norma Smith w as born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on July 29, 1923. She was a graduat e of Stevens Point High School and moved to Marinette in 1945. She had w orked at the former Marinette Knitting Mills. She was a member of Holy F amily Church, the Altar Society, the Senior Citizens Center and was an av id card player and enjoyed camping. She married Bernard McCabe on Februa ry 25, 1943 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
      Besides her husband she is survived by 1 son, Dennis (Nancy) of Myrtle Be ach, South Carolina; 1 daughter, Susie (Ron) Schneider of Menominee; 1 br other James Smith of Wisconsin Rapids; 8 grandchildren. A son, David pre ceded her in death last month.
      Friends may call at the Thielen Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m . on Thursday. Altar Society visitation will be at 6:30 p.m. followed b y parish wake service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Frid ay at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Taylor Street. The Rev. Lawrenc e Marto will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
