    • Norine Vivian Gustin Denessen, 83, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, July 13, 1996..



      She was born in Plainfield on August 7, 1912, a daughter of Emmett and Flora Knapp Gustin. On Jan. 26, 1935, she married Andrew Walter Denessen. He died in 1973. She graduated from Tri-County High School in Plainfield. .


      Mrs. Denessen was an active member of the Democratic Party, a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul and its
      Wednesday morning prayer group, Cathedral Mouse Factory and Cathedral Pages. She was an active volunteer in the Loaves and Fishes program. .


      Survivors include one daughter, Pat Papenfuss and her husband Jim of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Pam Lippold and her
      husband Mark of McHenry, Illinois. Brenda Schultz and her husband Callen of Oshkosh, and Mark and Paul Krummel of Madison,
      three great-grandchildren, Andrea Lippold, and Calla and Mason Schultz, two brothers, Russell Gustin and his wife Ethel of Fond
      du Lac, and Reid Gustin Sr. of Markesan; one sister, Norma Quinlan of Fond du Lac; and several nieces and nephews. .


      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Royden Gustin; and one daughter, Ruth Ann Krummel, in 1984..


      Services: A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11a.m. Monday at Cathedral Church of St. Paul. The Very Rev. James Cavanaugh, dean of the Cathedral, will be the celebrant, with homilist Brother Raymond Papenfuss, CSC. Private family burial services will be held at Oasis Cemetery in Plainfield..


      Visitation: From 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church..
