    • Nickole "Nikki" Van Dinter, age 44, of Kingsford, MI, formerly of the Fox Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 12, 2017. She was born on December 26, 1972, daughter of Jim Van Dinter and Susan LaBorde.

      Nikki enjoyed Zumba dancing and laughing as often as she could. She loved flowers and being in the outdoors and was a great mother to her sons.

      Nikki is survived by her two sons: Cody Ver Voort and Briar Nichols; her father, Jim (Patti) Van Dinter; her mother, Susan LaBorde; a brother, Dan (Debbie) Van Dinter; nieces: Ashley and Brooke Van Dinter; significant other, Jeff; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

      Nikki was preceded in death by her daughter, Kalsi Schaefer; grandson, Brantley Ver Voort; an aunt, Judy Hall; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

      Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.

      Nikki's family would like to extend a special thank you to her special friend Jimmy Gudowicz for always being there for her and her family through the good times and bad. Also a thank you to the staff at St. Vincent Hospital and the Organ and tissue donation teams for all of their compassionate care.

      Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not. We love you mom!
