- Judy H. Olp, age 64, of Hilbert died on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at her home in Hilbert. She was born April 16, 1946 in Appleton, daughter of the late Alvin and Malitta (Labtizke) Dohr. She married Arnie Olp on August 5, 1967 in Michigan; he preceded her in death on June 27, 1991. During her life, Judy worked for Worthington Industries in Chilton for over 30 years before retiring in 2006. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert where she had also belonged to the Christian Women. Judy's grandchildren were the light of her life and she went out of her way to make sure to spoil them in every way possible. Although her love centered on her family, her kind hearted personality was showered upon everyone and her house was always open and inviting to all.
She is survived by her children: Tony (Holly) Olp of Potter, Marissa (David) Kieso of Potter; five grandchildren: Alex, T.J., Mariah, Kyra, Davie; four sisters: Barb Halbach, Sue Dohr, Mary Brantmeier, Diane (Claude) Meyers; and a brother: Alvin (Kim) Dohr, Jr. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her father-in-law: Harold Olp; a grandchild: Kora Kieso; a sister: Donna Wolfinger; a brother: Donald Dohr; and brothers-in-law: Tom Brantmeier, Patrick Fenlon, Dave Diedrich.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 22, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church (108 S. 6th St.) in Hilbert with the Rev. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2010 and on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
