    • Juanita Guyette, of Kaukauna, age 86, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at ManorCare Nursing Home in Appleton after a long battle with dementia. She was born November 6, 1928, in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Juanita married Chester Guyette on June 5, 1948. They moved to Kaukauna in 1958.

      Juanita worked as a nurse's aide for many years at Oakridge Gardens. For the majority of her life that is what she enjoyed doing, taking care of other people.

      She is survived by her children; Chester (Janice) Guyette, Rothschild; Barb Smith, Appleton and Debra (special friend Bill) Guyette, New Glarus; grandchildren: Scott (Katie) Guyette, Little Chute and Paul Guyette, Rothschild; Erik Smith, Appleton and Jennifer (special friend Tony) Smith, Appleton; Joshua Guyette, Madison; great grandchildren: Emily Guyette; Alaina Smith and Quinn Nussbaum.

      The funeral service for Juanita will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 124 W. 10TH Street in Kaukauna. Rev. Levi Willms and Rev. Walt Steinbach will be officiating. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Kaukauna. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.       The family would like to thank the staff at ManorCare Nursing Care, for their years of caregiving and Heartland Hospice for all of their wonderful care.
