- De Pere - Joyce K. Bougie, 85, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 23, 2020. She was born January 26, 1934 to the late Jake and Marie (Huss) Lamers. On November 5, 1953 she married Marvin Bougie at St. John's Catholic Church, Little Chute.
Together with Marvin they farmed in the Town of Oneida. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Joyce enjoyed gardening, sewing, and woodworking. Her Special K Bars were always looked forward to at family events. Time spent with family and friends is what Joyce enjoyed the most.
She is survived by her children; Linda (Darrel) Hettmann, Cynthia Bougie, Steven (Char) Bougie, David (Anne) Bougie, Sherry (Paul) Van Gheem, Gail (Sean) Kane, sixteen grandchildren, Jenny Yuhasey, Matthew Hettmann, Nicholas Bougie, Josh Bougie, Jason Bougie, Jerica Fronsee, Nathan Bougie, Nicole Bloemer, Dylan Bougie, Simone Bougie, Michael, Jacob, and Marysa Van Gheem, Kaity, Ryan, and Bret Kane, as well as her great grandchildren. Her sisters-in-law; Joyce Lamers, Donna (Ed) Geurts, Karen (Ray) Brown, Pat Bougie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, a grandson, Jesse Hettmann, as well as her siblings; Jerry Lamers, Gordy Lamers, Joan Lamers, her sisters-in-law; Nancy Bougie, Joy Bougie, and brothers-in-law; Louie Bougie, and John Bougie.
Friends may call after 9:30AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church N5589 Cty Rd E, De Pere on Tuesday January 28, 2020. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM with Fr. David Ruby officiating. Burial will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Snyderville in spring. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family.
