      J. Ralf Bewick

      Age 83, of Kaukauna died early Tuesday June 1, 2004 at St. Paul Home. Ralf was born May 21, 1921 to the late Bert and Oda [Barth] Bewick in Green Bay. Ralf enlisted into the U.S. Army and graduated from Officers Candidate School as a Captain. He served during World War II for seven years in the Signal Corp of the Army until his honorable discharge. Ralf married the former Ruth Siebers on June 25, 1949 at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. He worked for the U.S. Govt as a Communications Engineer within the Dept. of Commerece until his retirement in 1981. Ralf loved his family and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed watching his grandsons compete in various sporting events.

      He is survived by his wife, Ruth Bewick; three children, Thomas [Elizabeth] Bewick and their two son, Michael and Patrick; Nancy Bewick; and Karen Tinkham [Molly Harris] and her three sons, Joseph, Robert and Mark; and two great grandchildren, Christian and Kayliyah; a sister, Carol Jacoby; two brothers in-law, Mark and Roger Siebers; four sisters in-law, Germaine [Wayne] Shillcox, Mary [Paul] Carnot, Alvina Neller and Patricia Siebers; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, Charlie Tinkham; his son in-law, Craig Tinkham and six brothers in-law.

      The funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2004 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Friends will be received on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Full Military Burial Rites will be performed after the committal service at St. John Cemetery, Little Church.
