- Joseph Pichotta, age 69, of Inverness, IL died peacefully at home on May 27, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margo; children Leah (Matt) Klein of Green Bay, WI, Anthony (Susan) Pichotta of Rocky River, OH, and Dr. Karl (Dr. Amelia Harrison) Pichotta of Austin, TX; grandchildren Nathan and Owen Klein and Jackson, William, and Emily Pichotta; brothers Peter and Philip (Mary Beth); sister-in-law Marilyn Pichotta Rocole; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Helen, brother David, and sister-in-law Joan.
Joe was born in Laona, WI, raised in Wabeno, WI, and graduated from Wabeno High School. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology before working for Merck and American Cyanamid. In 1983, he started his own business, Joseph Industries, a specialty chemical sales agency. Professionally, Joe was a 40-plus year member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI), and the Water Environmental Federation (WEF).
Joe was a long-time member and usher of Holy Family Church in Inverness. During his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, card playing, and reading.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
