  John N. Schlude Rites are Today at Holy Cross Funeral services for John N. Schlude, 83, 907 Lawe St., will be held at 9:30 a.m. this morning at Holy Cross Catholic Church with burial in the parish cemetery. Mr. Schlude died at the Kaukauna Community Hospital at 6 p.m. Sunday after an illness of about three weeks. He was born on September 28, 1877 in Germany and came to Kaukauna with his parents when he was eight years old. Mr. Schlude lived in New York state about 30 years and came back to Kaukauna around 1938 and has lived here since. Before retirement he worked as a watchman at the Badger Tissue Mills. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Mr. Schlude's survivors include one sister, Mrs. Anna Maes of Kaukauna and several nieces and nephews. The Fargo Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
