      FAILS TO SURVIVE
William Weirauch Dies As Result of Self Inflicted Wounds.

William Weirauch died at St. Elizabeth's hospital, Appleton, Saturday morning at 7:45 o'clock, after a period of great agony especially during his last hours. The wounds which caused his death were self -inflicted on Thursday, Sept. 7, and were deeply regretted by him after he came fully to his senses. It was his request that all needless expense for his funeral be omitted and the service be as simple as it could be made.
His body was brought here Saturday by Undertaker Jansky where it was embalmed at his rooms and prepared for burial. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Trinity Ev. Luth. Church, Rev. William Hinnenthal officiating, and was largely attended by his neighbors and relatives, also by the two insurance societies of which he was a member-the Lutheran Aid society and the National Fraternal League, in each of which he carried insurance.

Mr. Weirauch was born in Germany in 1865 and came to America with his parents at the age of nine years settling in the town of Kaukauna. He was married 31 years ago to Miss Elizabeth Spitz, who with eight children survive as follows: John, Otto, Edward, Alfred, Minnie, Henry, Arthur and Linda Weirauch; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Weirauch; his brothers August and Herman of Kaukauna, Charles of Marshfield and sisters, Mrs. Peter Duse of Boyd; Mrs. Annie Wundrow and Mrs. Minnie Wundrow of Marshfield and Mrs. Emma Egan of Kaukauna.

Those attending the funeral from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wundrow, Charles Weirauch, Marshfield; Mrs. Peter Duce, Boyd; Mr. and Mrs. August Wundrow, Buchanan; Mr. and Mrs. Gus Kreger, Woodville; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Spitz, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Spitz, Mr. and Mrs. William Spitz and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zimmers, Wrightstown; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martin, Green Bay.
