- Joanne Lee Zwiers, age 48, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at her home. She was born November 26, 1962, daughter of the late Carolynn Smith. Joanne loved her family and friends especially her good friend Nann and enjoyed the company of her many pets. She loved decorating her home and spent many hours hunting for treasures for her home. She also enjoyed working on her cars and tending to her flowers.
Joanne is survived by her loving daughter, Jamie (Jon Hostettler) Elmer, Appleton, three grandsons, Julius, Ryan and Brandon, a sister, Barbara, and her extended loving family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolynn; a brother, Duane; grandparents Paul and Helen Smith; and by several cousins and uncles.
A private family service will be held Friday, June 17, 2011, at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
