    • Joanne Hlinak, age 73 of Kewaunee died Monday, October 17, 2005 at the Kewaunee Care Center from complications of Alzheimers Disease. She was born June 11, 1932 in Green Bay to the late Peter and Grace (Beerntsen) Raymakers.

      Joanne married Charles R. Hlinak April 28, 1979 at St. Patrick’s Church in Green Bay. She was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish (Norman Site) and the Altar Rosary Society of the parish, a member of the Catholic Knights and the Czechs of Norman.

      Survivors include her husband; brothers and sisters-in-law: Winfred and Jean Raymakers, Green Bay, Edward Raymakers, Manitowoc; Sr. Mary Charles Hlinak, Manitowoc and Reiny Hlinak, Kewaunee.

      She was preceded in death by four sisters: Leona VanNelson, Bernice Hanson, Marion Navin and Rita Pirlott and one brother: Leo Raymakers.

      Friends may call at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee on Thursday, October 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. with Fr. Joseph Coopmans. Visitation continues at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, St. Joseph site at Norman at 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Fr. Joseph Coopmans. Entombment will be at the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

      The family offers a special thank you to the nurses at the Kewaunee Care Center and Dr. Zenner for the care they gave Joanne.
