Age 77, died Friday, November 1, 1996, at St. Paul Home following a lengthy illness. She was born September 8, 1919, in Little Chute, the daughter of the late William and Catherine [Vosters] De Bruin. Jeanette married Benedict Hoersch on December 27, 1944 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. She was a homemaker and cared for her family. She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church and its altar society.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Benedict; five children and spouses, Mary Kay Buelow of Winneconne, Jack J. Hoersch, Miami Springs, Florida; Paula and Wayne Micke of Brillion; Jane Bongers of Kaukauna, and James J. Hoersch of Appleton; seven grandchildren, Tammy Scovronski, Joyce [Scott] Sheldon, Ashley Buelow, Tara [Travis] Menadue, Kevin and Ryan Micke and Tanya Hoersch, a brother and two sisters in-law, Urban and Rita De Bruin of Combined Locks and Marie De Bruin of Little Chute; and a sister and brother in-law, Ceil and Clarence Nelessen of Little Chute. She is further survived by her husband's two sisters, Margaret Popp of Appleton and Lucille Olm of Omro.
She was preceded in death by a son in-law, David Bongers; three brothers, Antone, Bernard [Margaret] and Qiomtom [Joan] De Bruin, a sister, Betty [Urban] Nelessen; a sister in-law, Frances [John] White; a two brothers in-law, George Popp and Earl Olm.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna with Father Irvin Udululsch officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery in Kaukauna. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m. Sunday. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
