- Jasper Liebergen Dies at Age 69;
Services Today
Funeral services for Jasper C. Liebergen, 69, of
Route 4, Kaukauna, will be at 10:30 a.m. today
(Tuesday) at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown,
with the Rev. Richard Shafer officiating. Interment will
be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Liebergen died Saturday morning, May 14, In a
Green Bay hospital following a lingering illness.
He was born January 15,1914, in the Town of
Wrightstown, son of the late Henry Liebergen and
Elizabeth Baeten. He attended St. Paul's Catholic
School, and was married to the former Myrtle
Vandenberg on November 27,1941, at Freedom. He
had farmed at his present address for the last 33 years.
Mr. Liebergen was a veteran of World War II. He was a
member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Wrightstown, and
the Holy Name Society of the church. He also was a
member of the Urban Klister Post No. 436, American
Legion at Wrightstown.
Survivors include his wife; four sons and a daughterin-
law, Kenny Liebergen of Greenleaf, Donald and Paul
at home, and Dale and Beverly Liebergen of Route 4,
Kaukauna; one grandchild; one brother, Clayton
Liebergen of Route 1, Greenleaf; six sisters, Mrs.
Clarence (Delia) Wolfinger of Dundas, Mrs. Norbert
(Florence) Gonnering of Freedom, Mrs. Sylvester
(Bonita) Vissers of Kaukauna, Mrs. Eileen Spice of
Kaukauna, Mrs. Jerome (Martha) VanOss of Denmark,
and Mrs. Cyril (Delores) Nies of Greenleaf.
The De Wane Funeral Home, Wrightstown, is
assisting the family with arrangements.
