      Janice Jeanne Kust Nettesheim, 78, went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in 1938 in the great state of Wisconsin, the first daughter of cheese makers.

      She lovingly raised and nurtured her children. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She was an avid reader. Her true joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them with chocolate treats.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Eileen Kust and brothers Darrell, Ronald, and David.

      She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Don; sons David of Raleigh, Dennis (Maryann) of Richmond, Va, Douglas of Raleigh, Jeremy (PJ) of Raleigh; daughter Amy Biggers (Shan) of Raleigh; grandchildren Carson, Haley, Nicholas, Max, Quinn, and Jones.

      She is also survived by sisters Sharon, Sandy, Joan (Fred), Cindy, Jackie (Patrick); brothers Bernard, Randy, Kevin (Mary), and Brian (Karen).

      The family will receive friends at 3:00 PM on Thursday January 26,, 2017 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 4:00 PM with internment in the church columbarium immediately afterward.

      In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Raphael's Catholic Church for the Deacon Madey Parishioner's Relief Fund. Condolences: rfhr.com
