    • Hugh Samson, 91, Seymour, passed away Nov. 18, 2009, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. He was born Dec. 27, 1917, to the late James and Catherine (Brandow) Samson. On May 14, 1941, he was united in marriage to Agnes Wenninger.

      Hugh was employed with Allis Chalmers until his retirement. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Isaar.

      He is survived by his wife, Agnes; a daughter, Carol Kieff, Green Bay; grandsons, Jason (Rebecca) Samson, Racine; and Rance Scharp, Kansas City, Kan.; and two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lesperance, Topeka, Kan.; and Andrew Samson, Racine.

      He was preceded in death by a son, Allen; grandson, Bryan; son-in-law, Richard Kieff; and ten brothers and sisters.

      Friends may call at St. Sabastian Catholic Church, Isaar, Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Father Bob Kabat officiating.
