    • Luxemburg - Hilton J. Schreader, Jr. age 77 of Luxemburg passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on August 24, 1941 to the late Hilton E. and Luella (Servais) Schreader Sr.

      He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262 Luxemburg and Polish League of American Veterans 186 of Eaton.

      Hilton graduated from Kewaunee High School, class of 1961. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, traveling and playing cribbage. He especially like making hook rugs that he would donate to different clubs and church raffles.

      Survivors include one brother: William (Brenda) Schreader, Florida; four sisters: Judy (Marvin) Dorn, Luxemburg; Gloria (Earl) Peterson, Algoma; Margaret Theys, Green Bay; Suzanne (Kevin) Geimer, Pound, WI; one daughter: Christine Schreader, Green Bay; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother: Robert Schreader and one sister: Mary Schreader.

      Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday December 14 at Buchanan Funeral Home, 1425 Ellis St. Kewaunee. Polish League of American Veterans service will be at 6:00 p.m. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. by Pastoral Assistant Christal Wavrunek. Visitation continues on Saturday at St. Joseph/St. John Church, E860 Highway 29 Luxemburg after 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. Dennis Drury. Burial, following the lunch, will be at St. John Cemetery, Krok with full military rites.
