- Henrickson, Hilda E.
Hilda E. Henrickson, age 82, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully from this life to her eternal home on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at the Appleton Medical Center. Born Hilda Elaine Young on February 4, 1923, to the late Frank and Josephine (Thebo) Young in the Township of Maple Creek, Outagamie County, WI. She helped on the family farm until she married Merl J. Henrickson on March 9, 194, in Bear Creek. The couple raised four daughters and four sons together in Bear Creek until they moved to Clintonville. Hilda was employed in farming, at Miles Kimball in Oshkosh and at Simmon's Juvenile Products, New London until retirement in 1988.
She was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville. Her hobbies included gardening, needle point and woodworking.
Survivors include her loving husband Merl four daughters: Bonita (Ray) VandenBloom, Wrightstown, WI Barb (Gary) Beyer, Bear Creek Jean Witte (special friend Duane George), Oshkosh Joan (Clayton) Rebman, Pittsville four sons: Dennis (Bonnie) Henrickson, Appleton Daryl (Cindy) Henrickson, New London Ronald (Linda) Henrickson, Derby, KS Richard (Monica) Henrickson, Arkansas 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild her sister, Loretta Ritchie, New London three brothers: Lyle (Rose) Young, New London Floyd (Lila Mae) Young, Bear Creek Mark (Mary) Young, New London five sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and her favorite cat Bootsie.
She was preceded in death by her parents an infant daughter, Joyce Henrickson five grandchildren: Michelle, Clinton, Bradley, Joseph and Renee and four brothers: Paul, Merlin, Duane and Lloyd.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bear Creek with the Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Clintonville and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church until the time of the service. A Parish Prayer Service will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
