VandeHey, Hilary H. "Dick" Hilary H. "Dick" VandeHey, 69, Wrightstown, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at a Ledgeview Nursing Center. He was born April 7, 1938, on the family farm in Wrightstown, son of the late Henry and Petnella (Kerkhoff) VandeHey. Dick farmed his entire life on the family farm in Wrightstown, retiring in 1996. He married Beverly Orlando in 1961 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown. Dick loved spending time with his grandkids, vacationing in the Crivitz area, and enjoyed doing odds and ends around the farm. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Beverly; three children, Rodney VandeHey, Wanda (Gerry) Klister, Celina VandeHey; seven grandchildren, Matthew VandeHey, Evan VandeHey, Glen VandeHey, Gabrielle Knaus, Corrine Klister, Megan Klister, Virginia Knaus; brothers and sister, Roland (Rita) VandeHey, Gerald "Butch" (Jean) VandeHey, Orville VandeHey, Mary Sprangers, Virgil (Sandra) VandeHey; and many nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers; and three sisters. Family and friends may call Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, from 9 a.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at church, with Msgr. John H. Schuh officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
