    • Herbert L. Giesen, aged 36, died Suddenly at his home, 928 S. Thirteenth Street today from a stroke of apoplexy.

      Mr. Giesen was born in Hilbert, Sheboygan County (sic), May 6, 1898, and attended St. John’s parochial school there and later the Julia Ward Howe public school from which he was graduated.

      His marriage to Miss Anna Kloeppel took place Nov. 7, 1922, at St. John’s Catholic Church at Hilbert. The couple located at Plymouth until October, 1923, when they came to Sheboygan. Since that time Mr. Giesen had been employed at the Kohler company. Mr. Giesen was a member of St. Peter Claver church and its Holy Name society and of the Kohler Sick Benefit society.

      Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Marion, aged 10; a son, Donald, aged 5; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Giesen of Hilbert; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Hoelzel of Stockbridge, and Mrs. Andrew Gehl, Jr., of Hilbert.

      The body was taken to the Ramm Funeral Home. Services at the Giesen home and at St. Peter Claver church. The Rev. James Huepper will officiate and burial will be made in St. Mary Cemetery, at Hilbert.
