      Henry Derks, 82, of 720 E. Third street, Kimberly, died at his home about 3:30 a.m. today after a long illness. He was a retired farmer, moving to Kimberly about 12 years ago from Milbank, S.D. He was born March 27, 1877 in Holland.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic church, Kimberly, with burial in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Jansen Funeral home, Kimberly, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday.

      Derks is survived by his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Lambert DeGroot, Winona, Minn., Mrs. Mary Lambert, Kimberly, and Mrs. Hilton Helms, DeSmidt, S.D.; four brothers, John, Anton, Harvey and Herman, all in Holland; 12 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.
