    • DEATH OF GOOD, GENEROUS PIONEER
HENRY HEIMAN, RETIRED FARMER, DIED FRIDAY NIGHT.
Lived in County Nearly Fifty Years --Contributed Much to the Sacred Heart Church --Funeral Tuesday Morning.

Henry Heiman, aged 74, died last night at his home on Seventh street. Death was caused by the infirmities of old age. The funeral will be held from St. Joseph's church Tuesday morning with interment at the St. Joseph's cemetery.

Henry Heiman was born in Holland in 1832. He came to this country in 1858, and almost immediately settled on a farm in Grand Chute, where he lived continuously until about a year and a half ago, when he removed to Appleton.

He is survived by his wife and six children, as follows: John, who lives on the old Heiman farm in Grand Chute; Anton, also a farmer in Grand Chute; Mrs. Henry Bissing, Grand Chute, Mrs. William Liethen, Appleton; Mrs. Frank Hoyman, Freedom; Mrs. Matthew Jaeckels, Grand Chute. His first wife died May 1, 1905 and last fall he was married to Mrs. Katherine Jaeckels, who survives him. He also leaves many grand-children.

Mr. Heiman was a good, industrious man, an example of what energy and economy can do. He became very well to do and spent much money for good purposes. It was he who made it possible for the Sacred Heart parish to enlarge its church and improve its appearance, - though until now very few people knew of the generous gift, as he desired that it be not made public.
