- Berghuis, Harvey Of Naperville, IL age 89, died October 12, 2014. He was born in Combined Locks, WI, January 24, 1925. Harvey was a graduate of University of Wisconsin, Stout Institute with a B.S and also a M.S Degree in Industrial Arts. He served in WWII in the U.S. Navy aboard the Lt. Cruiser SS. Nashville in the South Pacific. Harvey taught Industrial Arts for 38 years at Naperville Central H.S. and Naperville North H.S. He attended Wesley United Methodist Church for over 40 years. He loved to garden and was an avid bowler for many years. He and his wife loved to travel, especially on cruises and throughout England. He is survived by his wife, Letitia "Letty"; and daughters, Esther Cook of Naperville and Jane (Richard) O'Connell, Grayslake, IL; his brother, Norbert of Kaukauna, WI; his granddaughters, Megan (Ryan) Hampsey, Katee (Jon) O'Toole, Karin (Keith) Peters and Courtney O'Connell; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sylvester and Gerald. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home and Crematory, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL. Funeral services will be Thursday at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Naperville Cemetery.
