    • Harlin G. Bud Landry, 67, Allouez, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Wednesday, June 9, 2010. He was born November 1, 1942 in Green Bay to the late Harlin and Arleen (White) Landry. On May 2, 1964 he married Jennie Brick at St. Mary Catholic Church, Greenleaf. They raised 3 children and celebrated 46 years of marriage together.

Bud and Jennie owned and operated Buds Club in Greenleaf for nine years. He was then employed by Valley Cabinet for 17 years before working with Tom Berceau Construction until retirement. Up until Buds illness he was a crossing guard for the city of De Pere, which he thoroughly enjoyed. During his working years he also enjoyed part time work at the Zuider Zee and later as a Friday night bartender at the Lorelei Inn.

Bud enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at the cottage on Trump Lake that he built with his family. He considered this his passion and labor of love. He was well known for taking the kids for the special tubing ride on the lake. Bud and Jennie looked forward to and loved their annual trip to Las Vegas. He liked playing cards with family and helping his children with all their home improvement projects.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jennie; 3 children: Connie (Daniel) Szymik, Leslie (Mark) Winter, and John (Ingrid) Landry; 10 grandchildren: Zachary, Sydney, and Caleb Szymik; Jennifer, Nicole, and Elizabeth Winter; and Keenan, Morgan, Carson, and Grace Landry; great-grandson, Levi Winter; sister, Sue (special friend, Tom Dauber) Brosz; brothers: Fred (Cathy), Jim (Teri), Mike, Pat (Patti), and Tom (Paula) Landry; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Albert Brick, Fran (Don) Larmay, Carol (Jerry) Diny, and Rich (special friend, Karen Titulaer) Brick; and many other relatives and friends.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Harlin and Arleen; step-father, Reuben Keller; parents-in-law, Carl and Frances Brick; brother-in-law, Terry Brosz; sister-in-law, Germaine Brick; Godchild, Diane White; and nephew, Chad Kaminski.

Family and friends may call Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7:00p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 710 N. Baird St., Green Bay from 10:00a.m. until 10:45a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Monday at 11:00a.m. with the Rev. Harry G. Hafeman officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. Gautum, all the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, VNA Hospice, and the staff at Aurora Baycare Medical Center for the exceptional care given to Harlin. Also thank you to all the relatives and friends that have called and sent cards during Buds illness. A special thank you to our neighbors, Kim and John Gillis for all of their help and kindness.
