Hal Clark, a prominent young stockman from north of Jordan, died at Chicago late Sunday night. Mr. Clark passed through here Monday of last week with a shipment of his cattle for the Chicago market, reaching there presumably on Thursday. A telegram last Saturday from his wife who had preceded him, announced that he was seriously ill with pneumonia and Monday morning came the message that death had taken place. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Clark, 19½ North 10th St., and a brother of Mrs. Merle Clark Sproull, late of the Shore-Newcom Co. store, and who was recently married to Lieut. Ralph Sproull of Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was married about one year and with his wife lived on the ranch north of Jordan. He had many friends in Miles City who will regret to learn of his untimely taking.
