      Martin, Evelyn


      Martin, Evelyn, age 84, passed away suddenly at her home Saturday, January 14, 2006. Evelyn was born on July 4, 1921, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to the late Ervin and Elsie Kunstman. She married Gilbert Martin on April 7, 1945. Evelyn was a very devoted mother to her children and her two granddaughters.


      Evelyn is survived by two sons: James Martin of Grand Chute; Terry (Cynthia) Martin, Town of Menasha; a daughter: Judith (Allen) Yingling of Black Creek; a brother Robert (Barbara) Kunstman; two grandchildren Heather and Cassie Martin; by a special niece Shirley O'Connell; and dear friends Ed and Ruth Spaeth. She is preceded in death by her husband: Gilbert Martin who died in 1990; and an infant son who died in 1951; her sister: Margaret Lamers who died in 2002; and her brother: Donald Kunstman.


      Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond, Appleton, with Pastor Tom Fritz officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2006, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Interment at Highland Memorial Park Appleton, WI. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund is being established.
