- EVELYN J. TERRY
Evelyn Jessie Terry, 82, Green Bay, died peacefully early Friday morning, March 10, 1995 at a Green Bay hospital. The daughter of the late Frank and Delia (DeGroot) Thyes was born January 6, 1913 in Brown County. On Sept. 1, 1936 she married Norbert (Bert) Terry at S.S. Edward & Isadore Church, Flintville. She was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society of S.S. Edward & Isadore Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #337-Pulaski.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She counted among her treasures the many friends she had. Survivors include one son, Wayne Terry, Green Bay; one daughter and son-in-law, Sue Ann and Thomas Winter, Krakow; her ten grandchildren whom she always called her angels; four great-grandchildren; one brother and sister- in-law, Clayton and Marian Thyes, Green Bay; one sister-in-law, Joyce Vander Velden, Mountain. She was preceded in death by her husband July 30, 1969; two sons, Patrick in 1987 and Nicholas in 1992; one daughter-in-law, Irma Terry in 1994. Evelyn will be able to spend St. Patrick's Day with her favorite Irishman !!
Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. American Legion Auxiliary Service 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Wake service 7: 30 p.m. Sunday, then in state at SS. Edward & Isadore Church, Flintville, from 10 a.m. Monday until time of the Funeral Mass. Funeral 11:00 a. m. Monday at the church with the Rev. David Kasperek officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
