    • Neenah - Eunice Clara (Henseler) Long was freed from the pain and destructiveness of Parkinson's disease when she passed away on Friday, May 31st, 2018.

Eunice was born on July 13th, 1938 in St. John, Wisconsin. Her family later moved to Hilbert where she graduated from high school in 1956. She attended UW Oshkosh where she met Keith Long whom she married on December 27th, 1962. Together they had three children, Dan, Danice and Jennifer. During her marriage, she operated and was an owner of L & S Sewing Center in downtown Appleton.

In her late 50's, Eunice moved to Menominee, Wisconsin where she lived with her sister and attended UW Stout. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Vocational Rehabilitation in December, 1997 with highest honors. She later moved back to Appleton and worked in several positions within the Appleton public school system until her retirement.

Eunice is survived by her children, Dan (Barb) Long, Dani (Jonathan) Wilson Long and Jennifer (Jack) Van Schyndel. Eunice is also survived by seven grandchildren, Glenn, Yeshua, Isabel, Olivia, Isaac, Nicholas and Carson and one great-grandchild, Silas. She is also survived by her siblings, Teresa Schulz (Phil McGuirk), Fritz Henseler, Sister Marlita Henseler, John (Peggy) Henseler and Mike Henseler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Verona (Popp) Henseler.

Eunice loved music, singing, reading and art. She sang with the Sweet Adelines and also in a quartet with friends Jan, Jean and Mary for many years. Eunice was a genuinely nice person with a warm smile for all. She saw the good in people and was a friend to everyone. She was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. She will be truly missed.
