      Formerly of Kimberly, age 91, died Sunday, March 24, 2002 at the Vallhaven Care Center, Neenah. She was born June 22, 1910 in the town of Holland, daughter of the late Patrick and Mabel (Cool) Clancy. On July 3, 1933 Evelyn married Ben Pennings, he preceded her in death on November 11, 1964. She is survived by nieces and nephews: Ron (Fran) Vander Steen, Newfoundland Bernie (Nancy) Vander Steen, Kaukauna Carol Van Eperen, Kimberly Don Vander Steen, Greenleaf Ken Vander Steen, New Holstein Carl (Corrine) Grapengieser, Minnesota Elnore (Larry) Allard, Appleton Pat (Annette) Grapengieser, Menasha Chuck (Karen) Grapengieser, Appleton Tim (Sharon) Grapengieser, Neenah Terry (Margie) Grapengieser, Appleton Jean Grapengieser, Appleton many great nieces and nephews. She is further survived by a step daughter-in-law, Lucille Pennings, Little Chute five step grandchildren: Tom, Donna DeBroux, Richard, Ben and Anne Pennings 10 step great-grandchildren, two step great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers (at birth), two sisters and brothers-in-law: Helen (Frank) Vander Steen Margaret (Henry) Grapengieser, a stepson, Jim and two step grandchildren: Rebecca and Jay. Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Fr. Robert Udulutsch officiating. Burial in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call directly at the church from 3:30 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services. The Boettcher Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family with arrangements.

      Special thanks to the caregivers at Carroll House in Kimberly for the last 12 years and to all the nurses, aids and staff at Vallhaven Care Center for the great care the last two months.
