      Age 85, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Friday following a short illness. He was born June 24, 1886 in Menasha and was a life resident. He retired from the Central Paper Company of Menasha in 1953. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Catholic Knights and the Knights of Columbus, Nicolet Council. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Rita) Ely, Mrs. Jack (Beatrice) Laeyendeccker; a brother, Henry; a sister, Mrs. Les (Marcella) Remmell, all of Menasha; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday morning at the Laemmrich Funeral HOme and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with interment in the parish cemetery. The rev. Louis Prefontain will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 until 9 p.m. Sunday and the prayer service will be held at 8 p.m Sunday evening.
