  • Notes
    • Our Heavenly Father peacefully welcomed Ervin Clarence Schott, 92, of De Pere on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Ervin was born on November 11, 1925 to the late Peter and Olga (Servais) Schott.
On May 30, 1955 he married Barbara A Zeise.

Ervin worked hard and strong all his life. He loved to play equally as hard at gardening, fishing, ice skating, building bird houses, boating and especially water skiing and he celebrated his retirement at 75 years old by water skiing for the very last time. Even though his ears could not hear Ervin was an amazing dancer, following the vibrations of the music. His sense of humor warmed everyone he met. Most of all, Ervin was the kindest, most genuine Christian man most of us will ever have the honor to know.

Ervin is survived by his Children, Anne (John Calawerts) Baeten, Mike (Betsy) Schott, and Becky (Matt) Wellens, 5 grandchildren Emily Baeten, Benjamin Baeten, Charlie Schott, Grant Wellens and Drew Wellens, brothers and sisters-in-laws Remus (Lorraine) Schott, Alvin (Beverly) Schott, sister-in-laws Joan Schott, and Janie Schott, and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years Barbara Ann Schott, his parents Olga and Peter Schott, his sister Melina (Dick) Rehm, Jake Kugal, brothers and sister-in-laws Leonard (Laverne) Schott, Norman Schott, Gerald Schott, Harry (Barbara) Schott, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Earl and Dorothy Zeise.

Friends may call after 12:00PM on Thursday August 30, 2018 at the chapel in the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum, until time of service at 2:00PM.

The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to the amazing staff of Rennes Nursing Home for their loving care and compassion. The family requests no flowers or plants please.
