    • Obituaries - Mrs. William Ashman (Emma Schultz) 218 W. Atlantic Street - Age 87, passed away at 12:40 a.m., Tuesday following a brief illness. She was born August 21, 1886 in the Town of Center, where she lived until 23 years ago at which time she moved to Appleton. Mrs. Ashman was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a member of the Martha circle. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Romelda) Wirth, Appleton; two sons, Earlin, and Eldo, both of Rt. 2, Appleton; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, seven years ago, by a son, Ray, on February 24, 1973, and by two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. W.H. Gammelin officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 3 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8 until 9:30 a.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. at the church until the time of service.
