- Emma A. (Greil) Jolitz Tomahawk, Wisconsin Age 85, died on Monday, April 2nd, at her residence. She was born on March 1, 1916, in Hollister, Wisconsin, the daughter of Bernard and Ida (Lemke) Miller. Emma was a member of the Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved and looked forward to visits from all her children and grandchildren. This spring, the forest will miss her yearly search for Morel Mushrooms. Emma will be missed for her strong desire to help her family and be of support. She is survived by six children: Bernice (Ralph) Nordwig, Winter Springs, Florida; Frederick H.
(Karen) Greil, Darrell Oliver (Arlene) Greil, Darlene Sturns, all of Appleton, Wisconsin; William Edward (Wendie) Greil Jr., Tomahawk, Wisconsin; and Barbara J. (Richard) Servi, West Allis, Wisconsin; and by one daughter-in-law, Betty Greil, Appleton; 26 grandchildren and 34 great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Further survived by two sisters, Esther Schrieber and Mable Everson, both of Beloit; and a brother, Oliver Miller, Appleton. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Emma was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; one son, James William Greil; an infant daughter, Carol Jean Greil, a daughter-in-law, Karen Greil; one grandson and one great-granddaughter. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 6 at the Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, at 12 noon with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
