    • Emery Galineau was a Register of Deeds in Marinette Co, WI in 1910 and running again on the Republican ticket. Miss Adeline B. Pratt was running on the Independent ticket. In Wisconsin, no women were running before 1910 and winning. Sue Heinritz Jones has a "boob" of articles of the election, the win, the ccourt battles in Marinette Co., regional, and Wisconsin State. Miss Pratt won. Emery Galineau, after the court battles and the lost, now has a job at a Travel Agent. Later he won other elections in Brown Co, and Milwaukee Co. Miss Pratt was the first women elected in Wisconsin in 1910.
