- MADISON–Emerita J. Hinnendael, age 89, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Sept. 2, 1926, in Green Bay, the daughter of Martin and Anna (Clabots) Vanden Bush. She married Henry Hinnendael on Sept. 2, 1947, in Humboldt, Wis. Emerita graduated from St. Mary's Nursing School in Green Bay in 1947. She was an avid reader and treasured her family, including her extended family. Emerita was a stay-at-home mom until her children were grown, at which time she worked in the State Revenue Department. She was associated with the Schoenstatt Sisters for many years and was a member of St. Dennis Parish. Emerita is survived by her children, Mary (James) Zeller of Hartford, William (Eva) Hinnendael of Middleton, June (Dale) Lewis of Dubuque, Iowa, Michael (Denise) Hinnendael of Madison and James (Dede) Hinnendael of River Falls; grandchildren, Craig (Tricia) Zeller, Beth (Mike) Croasdaile, Alison (Nick) Anger, Monica (Kenneth) Hovind, Michelle (Jason) Sanger, Gregory Hinnendael, Cynthia (Aaron) Viertel, Heather (Jesse) O'Neil, Jennifer (Gregory) Normington, Joseph Hinnendael, Jeffrey Hinnendael, Tyler Hinnendael, Derrick Hinnendael, Brad (Kelly) Erickson and Jaime Erickson; great-grandchildren, Zackary, Tanner, Jonathan, Jillian, Jameson, Estelle, Thomas, Alexander, Ryan, Zachary, Abigail, Matthew, Benjamin, Mariana, Cecilia, Jackson, Aidan, Carson and Lewis; and three sisters, Agnes (Ken) Hettman of DePere, Eileen Bredael of Luxemburg; and Jane (Wencil) Mleziva of Green Bay. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Harold Vanden Bush. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Rd., Madison, at noon, on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, with Father Randy Timmerman presiding. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare or Schoenstatt Sisters.
