    • Emerdine A. Nooyen, 92, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, June 2, 2010, at a local hospital. She was born on August 15, 1917, in Green Bay to the late John and Anna (DeGrave) Verheyden. She married the late Roger Nooyen and shared 55 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2002. Emerdine lived in Green Bay her entire life. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Green Bay.

      She is survived by her two daughters, Joan Gore and Maxine Daubner; grandchildren, Daniel and Michael Gore, Randall Daubner and Susan Bergwin; and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

      Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Tuyls, and her brother, Harvey Verheyden.

      Friends may call at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum, 2121 Riverside Dr. on Monday after 10 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. David Pleier officiating.
