- Elsie Erna Reinke, 93 passed away May 10, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. She was born May 31, 1923 to the late Adolph and Lydia (Heisler) Tank in Seymour, WI.
Elsie was united in marriage to Ervin Reinke on May 23, 1942. During their 63 years of marriage they enjoyed dancing and often enjoyed spending time playing cards with family, until Ervin's passing on July 23, 2005.
Elsie was a gentle loving soul who was known to always take care of others, especially through her passion of cooking and baking. She enjoyed spending time with her family, neighbors and friends. But her greatest pleasure was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew Elsie and her soft spoken way loved her. She enjoyed talking with anyone that came along her way. She was a beautiful soul and is dearly loved and deeply missed by family and friends.
Elsie is lovingly survived by her four children: David (Diane) Reinke, Kewaunee; Karen (Julian) Villalpando, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Judi (Peter) Bartman, Appleton; Sherri (Dean) Barker, Appleton, twelve grandchildren: Scott (Eva) Reinke; Brian (Tina) Reinke; Christopher (Becky) Villalpando; Rebecca (Carlos) Mena; Robert (Vange) Villalpando; Joseph (Rachel) Villalpando; Andrew (Jessica) Bartman; Nicholas (Chelsea) Bartman; Lori (Scott) Bauer; Tina (Terry) Hoffman; Zachary Barker; and Shannon Barker and twenty great grandchildren. She is further survived by four siblings: June Kemp, Harvey Tank, Shirley Weyland, and Leland Tank.
Elsie is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Ervin; three brothers: Larry, Elmer, and Carlton Tank; and two sisters: Lillian Rollo and Caroline Reno.
Services for Elsie will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday May 19, 2017 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME with Rev Mark Klaisner officiating. Elsie's family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
