DEATH SUMMONS MRS. MAHONEY
Mrs. Thomas F. Mahoney, formerly of this city, died at the family home in Bremerton, Was. At noon last Saturday, according to a message received that night by T. M. Brown, details of her death have not reached Greeley.
Mrs. Mahoney was almost 60 years old. Greenbay, Wisconsin was her birthplace. She is survived by her husband and three children. The children are Ethel of Los Angeles, Arthur of Seattle and Inez at home. Mrs. Mahoney had two sisters in Omaha, Mrs. William Quaid and Mrs. Katie Wolfe.
The Mahoneys left Greeley in 1906 for Portland Oregon where Mr. Mahoney engaged in the lumber business. They came to Greeley from Bruno, Nebraska in 1893 and brought a lumber yard from T. M. Brown. The lumber yard is now owned by S. E. Smith and sons. After remaining 12 years in Portland the family moved to Bremerton where Mr. Mahoney has a position as lumber inspecter for the government. Mrs. Mahoney had many dear friends in Greeley who will regret to learn of her demise. She was a woman of strong character and possessed a pleasing disposition.
