      Mrs Albertha (Bertha) Van Grinsven, Age 87, died at 9:45 friday morning following a short illness. Born Nov 8, 1894 in Heesch, Netherlands & resided in Appleton for the last 34 years. she was a member of St Marys Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society, & the 3rd Order of St Francis. Survived by 3 daughters: Mrs Christ (Petra) Vande Ven, Neenah; Mrs Ted (Harriet) Toppens, Appleton; Mrs Len (Elizabeth) Bekx, Neenah; 4 sons: William, Edward, Max, & Harry, all Appleton; 24 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her spouse Gerard, May 8, 1945; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; & a granddaughter. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at st Mary Catholic Church. Burial in St Mary Cemetery.
