Techlin, Eleanor G. Eleanor G. Techlin, age, 71, passed away Wednesday November 14, 2007, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on March 27, 1936, in Oconto Falls to Alex and Uiva (LaPonce) Skrobel. Eleanor married Alton Techlin on September 14, 1957. She enjoyed crocheting, plastic canvas needle point, camping, fishing, cards and especially her family. She was a member of St Nicholas Catholic church in Freedom.
Eleanor is survived by her husband Al, two daughters: Christine (Michael) Condardo, Yakima WA; Barbara (Cecil) Jones, Las Vegas, NV; a son, Alton (Tammy) Techlin, Freedom; grandchildren: Tiffany (Jason) Jones-Lysne, Alyx, Austin and Alisha Techlin; great-grandson, James Lysne; brother, Alex Skrobel; sisters: Mary (Robert) Sprister, Bernadine (David) Everts, Beverly Luchterhand, Crystal (Charles) DeHut, Laurel Aull, brother-in-law Arnold Lamers, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, and a sister Theresa Lamers.
The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007, at St Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom with Father David Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the Eleanor G. Techlin fund.
