- Elaine Lucille Conrad, 89, Green Bay, died Friday, October 25, 2013. She was born on June 21, 1924 in Green Bay to William and Mildred (Routhieaux) Ruben. She was married to James W. Conrad on February 16, 1951 in Chicago, IL. Jim preceded her in death on January 6, 2005.
Elaine enjoyed swimming, golfing and sewing. She also enjoyed her Sundays with Doris and Gloria and time spent at the family cottage in Shawano.
Elaine is survived by her children, Ron Kummers, Deborah (Bob) Boucher, Jill (Gary) Exton, James (Chris) Conrad Jr., Diane (Ed) Foley, Karl (Donna) Conrad and Kim Kopp; 14 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; three sisters, LaVern Boucher, Doris Barrett and Gloria Cormier; a brother, James Ruben; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Ruben; a brother-in-law, Bernie Jones; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; an infant son, John; a brother, Bill Ruben; sister, Joyce Oettinger Jones.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday. The Funeral Service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Ryan Krueger officiating.
