    • Elaine L. Stevenson, age 74 of Appleton, was born on March 4, 1940 in Kimberly. She lost her battle with cancer on April 28, 2014. She devoted her entire life unselfishly to her husband, children, grandchildren and family.

      She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by: her husband, Daniel; four children and 13 grandchildren: Thomas (Carly) Stevenson of Appleton, and their children Melissa and Tyler; Dawn (Paul) Ebben of Hortonville, and their children Makenna, Bryanna and Alaina; Jeffrey (Laura) Stevenson of Sherwood, and their children Mariah and Morgan; Carrie (Santiago) Sanchez of Kimberly and her children Diego, Blanca, and Quincy; Eric, Amber (Meyer) and Erin Hoefler; and seven great grandchildren.

      She will be sadly missed by her two sisters, brother and brother-in-law: Millie (Norm) Bodway of Menasha; Jean "Dolly" Miller of Appleton; James Derks of Appleton; along with her in-laws, Robert (Peg) Stevenson of Combined Locks; Carol (Lee) Planert of Appleton; Connie (Garld) Sandlin of Tennessee; James Stevenson of Kimberly; many nieces; nephews; other dear relatives and friends.

      Her loved ones who have made their journey into eternal life ahead of her are: daughter, Mary Hoefler; son, Ricky Hoefler; mother, Marie (Vandera) Fitzpatrick; in-laws, Elwood and Ann Stevenson; brother-in-law, Jack Miller; sister-in-law, Marilyn Derks; niece, Twila Jo Derks; great nephew, Justin Zimmer; nephew, Brian Stevenson; and close family friends, Donald and Delores "Tootie" Brandt.

      The celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday May 3, 2014, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior St. Downtown, Appleton, with Deacon Bruce Corey officiating.
