Notes - Edwin T. Van Dyke, Kaukauna, age 78, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at his home. He was born July 29, 1936 in Kaukauna, son of the late Edwin F. and Dorothy (Kersten) Van Dyke. Edwin was a US Army Veteran. He married Judith DeBruin on August 4, 1962. The couple enjoyed 37 years of marriage together prior to her death on November 16, 1999. Edwin worked for the city of Kaukauna retiring in 1998. He enjoyed traveling and camping and spending time with family and friends. Edwin was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna.
He is survived by his children: Diane Cappaert, Kaukauna, Robert (Penny) Van Dyke, Greenville and William Van Dyke, Nicholasville, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren: Connie (Brandon) Johnson, Michael Van Dyke, Brittany Van Dyke (special friend Sam), Megan Van Dyke, Amanda and Emily Vandyke; 1 brother: Donald (Pat) Van Dyke, Green Bay; 1 sister: Charlotte (Joe) Weyenberg, Kaukauna; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Ken Plach, Appleton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Ann in 1999.
A Memorial Service for Edwin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday March 20, 2015 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating.
