  Obit. Kaukauna Times 1-17-1919 The funeral of Edward Meulemans, who lost his life by freezing to death Thursday, Jan. 2, wa s held from St. Paul's church on Monday morning, Jan. 6, at 10 o'clock. Rev. Father Vande Cas tele officiating. Burial was in the Wrightstown Catholic Cemetery. The pallbearers were Joh n Klister, Peter Kerkhoff, Fred Baeten, Math. Sullivan, Frank Runnoe and Peter Liebergen. Mr . Meulemans was 43 years old. He was born in Belgium and came to this country with his paren ts when he was 10 years old, and lived here ever since. He leaves to mourn him his widow; ei ght children the oldest 15 years and the youngest 1 year old; his father and mother, Mr. an d Mrs. Frank Meulemans; four sisters, Sarah, (Mrs. Felix Coppens) Kate, (Mrs. Henry Coopmans ), Rose, (Mrs. William Theunis), and Sister Caroline in a Racine Convent. Mr. Meulemans belon ged to the Catholic Knights, members of the local lodge attending in body. the stricken fami ly has the deepest sympathy of the entire community.
