- Kalupa, Edmund "Ed"
Ed was embraced by his Lord and savior on Thursday October 1st 2015 after a very courageous battle with cancer. He ended his life as he lived it, spending time with the love of his life, Lori and his precious children, Ben and Amanda. Ed was born in Kaukauna on March 15th 1962. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1980 where he distinguished himself as a good student, leader, friend, and Lang Trophy recipient. Ed's strong faith and devotion to the lord was the foundation of his life. He was one of the chairman for the parish picnic at Saint Bernadette. He was also a member of Kiwanis Club. Ed graduated from St. Norbert College where he earned his degree in Communications with a concentration in business. Ed married Lori on April 28th 1989. He loved his job working as a Business Development Manager for Print Pro Inc where he continued working throughout his battle. Ed enjoyed fishing and hunting at his cabin with a treasure group of guys including his father and his son. Ed loved listening to his three favorite sounds of nature, the echo of a loon, geese flying overhead, and an elk bugling in the distance. These sounds will continue to be a part of his spirit in heaven and here on earth.
Ed is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lori; two beloved children: Ben and Amanda; siblings: Tom (Chris), Connie (Michael), Kate (John); parents: Tom and Mary; mother-in-law: Joanne; Sisters-in-law: Debbie and Sara (Rick); and his faithful black lab Kendal. He was proceeded in death by his father-in-law, Ron.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2015 at ST. BERNADETTE PARISH (2331 E. Lourdes Dr. Appleton) beginning at 1pm until the time of the mass at 5pm. Committal Holy Cross cemetery. To sign the guest book, please visit oconnellfh.com.
