    • Doris Schnese, 72, of Menasha, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010 with her family at her side. She was born on August 1, 1938 in Clintonville, the daughter of the late Byron and Evelyn (Lyon) Allen. On July 23, 1982 she married Curtis Schnese in Oshkosh. Doris enjoyed her years working at Fox Valley Technical College. She loved her pets, angels, waterfalls, oil painting and drawing. Doris was always looking for a "treasure" at rummage sales and flea markets. Camping and traveling were a few of her passions, but most important was spending time with her family.

Doris is survived by her loving husband, Curt Schnese; daughters: Kim Green, Shari (Russell) Huven and Jodi (Mike) Huven; son, Ken (Shelly) Brenden; seven grandchildren: Stefanie and Nicole Green; Sasha and Kassandra Huven; Courtney and Trevor Huven; Matt Brenden; brothers and sisters: Myron Allen, Leonard (Dawn) Allen, Crystal May, Brent Allen, Carla (Mike) Wanty and Casey Wilson; special friends: Lee (Bill) Nolte, Pansy (Dan) Frane, Nancy Vandersee and Marie Lippold and many others too numerous to mention. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Evelyn Emma Vandersee; her son, Martin Brenden; three brothers: Gary, Danny and Bruce Allen.

The memorial service for Doris will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at THE PENTECOSTALS OF THE FOX CITIES, 1445 Midway Road, Menasha. Pastor Dan Sharp will be officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the church.

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness. II Timothy 4:7~8
