    • Age 71 Died on Friday, December 29, 2000, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born in Shawano on November 29, 1929 to the Late Emil and Anna(Schoenick) Ebelt. On July 13, 1965, she married Milton Kraus; hepreceded her in death on August 26, 1982. Doris was a member of St. PaulEv. Lutheran Church in Appleton. She worked as a waitress for 10 yearsat Karras' Restaurant. Doris loved to play cards with her friends.She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Debby Vanden Berg of Freedom;grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, and Amanda Vanden Berg; sisters-in-law,Shirley Ebelt of Shawano, and Norma (Carl) Ebelt of Breed, WI; numerousnieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to herhusband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Alfred,Donald, Gordon, Carl and Lester Ebelt; two sisters, Helen (Peter) Westand Eunice Moomaw. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 3,2001, at 11 a.m. at the Star of Hope Chapel in Highland Memorial Park.The visitation will be on Wednesday at the chapel from 9 a.m. until thetime of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been
      established.
